Senior Web Developer Kent Watson is one of the primary developers on the Wal-Mart and Sam’s Club team, as well as the keeper of the content management system and programming framework behind all Rockfish Interactive and client Web sites. Kent has a passion for learning and manipulating technology to solve problems and meet client’s needs, as well as designing highly intuitive applications. Kent has a long history as an employee of Tyson Foods, starting with creating the company’s dynamic Intranet Web site as only an intern. Over his many years at Tyson he performed all of the programming and architecture work for two public website redesigns, as well as several internal enterprise level web-based applications. Kent contributed to the architecture and programming of reusable code libraries and authored a Web site template used by every internal Tyson Web site, all of which saved developers countless hours on new Web projects. And after spending many years working with Tyson, Kent made the move to Rockfish Interactive and began working on the back-end content management systems, and front-end Web sites for Rockfish Interactive and its clients. Kent holds a master’s degree in information systems from the Sam M. Walton Graduate School of Business at the University of Arkansas, Fayetteville. He continues to lead graduate students as a member of his alma mater’s faculty co-teaching courses in SAP technology.
