Rockfish Interactive Partners with J.B. Hunt to Launch Interactive Training

Posted by Kenny Tomlin on Thursday, January 31, 2008 in Project Launch

Being one of the top trucking companies in the country with drivers living and driving coast to coast each week, managing to get a set of drivers in one room at the same time for a training class is quite the feat even for a logistics wonder such as J.B. Hunt Transport.

In order to facilitate the learning of new material, driver policies and safety procedures for the busy drivers of JB Hunt, Rockfish Interactive designed and developed a web-based training application. With the use of streaming video sessions and interactive questions, managers can be confident that each driver has absorbed key information by logging in to review the real-time reports the system provides. Being able to participate in the training at the optimum time for the driver creates a more productive lesson and reduces the cost of traveling for training at a specific place and time.

The educational system was modularized in such a way that a variety of units of learning could be mixed and matched to directly focus on a particular business objective. With both optional and required training, the drivers and their leaders could guarantee the professional development of each employee.
