Business to business headwear company, Outdoor Cap, has been serving their industry for over 30 years, distributing headwear to professional organizations around the world and making a name for themselves as one of the largest and most respected manufacturers in the United States. When their site needed a fresh look, they partnered with Rockfish Interactive to give a new face to their company’s online presence.
Where the site once featured a black and white design with minimal text and photos, the site now features a sporty new design, that gives it a professional look and supports the company’s ultimate goal of providing a quality experience and a quality product to their clients. New features of the site include a redesigned site map that makes it easier for visitors to navigate, access to the Outdoor Cap Catalogue on every page, and company contact e-mails proudly displayed on each page.
This overhaul is just the first phase of creating the new Outdoorcap.com – future plans for the site include a custom ordering interface that will launch later in the summer.Check out these initial changes at www.outdoorcap.com and check back soon as Rockfish Interactive and Outdoor Cap continue to develop their online presence.
Kraft Foods, provider of some of the world’s most trusted food brands, has been a leading supplier in family meal solutions for decades. In conjunction with Rockfish Interactive and Wal-Mart Stores, Kraft created the Simple Mealtime Ideas desktop widget. Now you can plan your menu right from your desktop, with a new idea for something delicious everyday!
The Simple Mealtime Ideas widget offers one recipe per day that is quick and easy to prepare. With full recipes and pictures, users who download the widget have access to different and creative dinner solutions, all made from ingredients that can be found at your local Wal-Mart. Each meal idea is stored on the widget, so recipes from previous days are always available, if the day’s recipe doesn’t suit your family’s tastes.
From sweet BBQ chicken kabobs to macaroni and cheese lasagna, all recipes can be prepared and cooked in less than an hour, and nutritional information is also available for all meals prepared. Rockfish Interactive designed the widget and programmed it for use with the Yahoo Widget Engine, and is compatible for both Mac and Windows operating systems.

In 2007, Tyson Foods approached Rockfish Interactive with a challenge. They needed a way to showcase not only Tyson’s worldwide hunger relief efforts, but also the relief efforts of so many other individuals who have worked hard to fight global hunger. From this, hungerrelief.tyson.com was created. And while this site aimed to motivate and empower people to become Hunger All-Stars, there was still a need to further highlight and tell the story behind those companies, individuals and charities that are making a difference in the global fight against hunger.
Tyson and Rockfish teamed once again to create the Hunger Relief Blog as an updated and more interactive replacement for the original site that was created. This blog provides a new interactive outlet for people to receive all the latest information about the fight against hunger by focusing on Hunger All-Stars, in-kind donations, student food drives and other Tyson relief efforts. A Flickr badge that cycles the latest images from nation-wide food drives and events, and a Hunger Tips widget are available for readers to embed into their own blog, where they can help spread the word about hunger and poverty in America.
The Hunger Relief Blog is built upon Rockfish’s blog software, Echo, which will allow Tyson bloggers to regularly write and update blog postings. The tips that make up the widget are also managed and posted by Tyson staff, and to make the blog even more interactive, a form is also provided that allows visitors to nominate those who they think should hold the title of Hunger All-Star. This new interactive addition to the site will be a great resource where media and interested individuals can learn what they can do to aid Tyson as they fight hunger.
Deciding what’s for dinner just got easier! Rockfish Interactive and Sam’s Club are proud to announce the launch of the new Sam’s Club Recipe Center. The recipe center allows shoppers to access hundreds of recipes invented by gourmet chefs and made from ingredients you can find on the shelves at Sam’s Club stores across the nation.
In this unique site addition, users can satisfy their cravings by searching the site for recipes by the chef who created them or by the type of food or beverage they are. Once they find a recipe they like, they can view similar recipes using common ingredients along with recipes that traditionally accompany their favorites. Users can easily print out a copy of recipes or send them to friends, promoting even more interaction with Sam’s Club online. From One-Dish Meals to Snacks & Hors d’oeuvres to Table Settings & Entertaining tips, users can find all of their menu-planning solutions in one place.
Rockfish created the site to be the ultimate in usability for Sam’s Club employees as well as site visitors. The entire page is fueled by a custom Rockfish-generated Content Management System that facilitates frequent posting of recipes, while the recipe center homepage allows viewers to see the most recently uploaded recipes, featured recipes and popular recipes all at a glance.
